Application:
Gerband 606 aluminum butyl adhesive tapes are used to mask metal-cased insulation and permanently seal pipes and ventilation ducts in heating, ventilation and air conditioning engineering. The butyl sealing tapes are also used as moisture and diffusion barriers in underground construction. In roof areas as repair tape as well as for masking joints and connections to masonry, concrete and wood and wind and vapor-tight bonding of films and other airtight layers to comply with DIN 4108 part 7 in building construction. |

Processing:
Absorbent, porous or sandy substrates must be sufficiently painted with adhesive primer. We recommend the butyl primer 6000 for this purpose. For the pretreatment of soft wood fiber board, we recommend the primer 6200. |
